Trollbeads are similar to Pandora charms in many ways. As with Pandora charms, each bead tells its own story, and they are given on special occasions as gifts, or all throughout the year. They are growing in popularity in the USA at present, and are also popular in Australia.
What is most distinctive about Trollbeads is the use and combination of fascinating materials. The beads are made from the sterling silver, 18 carat gold, Italian Murano glass, natural pearls and precious stones. Some models are created first in hard modelling wax, then finished in metal, while others are created directly in molten glass.
Trollbeads were also designed by Danish jewellers 25 years ago.
There are over 400 different beads available, including different symbols, flowers, zodiac signs and beautiful glass beads. They introduce between 30 to 40 new beads each year to keep up with new styles and fashion.
Pandora beads will fit on a Trollbead bracelet, but Troll beads do not always fit on Pandora charm bracelets. Pandora beads are threaded so that they don’t fall off the bracelet. Troll beads aren’t threaded.
